The purpose of this study was inquiry that productive meeting between sports content and sport humanities. The method of this study was studied in the relevant literature on contents and humanities of sport. To realize the purpose of this study, I investigated present study trends of sport contents and sport humanities. and I try to know understanding and application of sport contents. In order to create economic interests of sport contents. we should be ready for sport
contents as successful studies area for the future of physical education area. it is related with a variety of ideas and thinking idea on sport. therefor sport contents need to sport humanities.
Because creative thinking and good ideas have something to do with education, research and experience on literature, history, philosophy of sport.

이 논문의 목적은 우선 스포츠콘텐츠에 대한 이해와 활용을 탐구하고, 스포츠콘텐츠와 스포츠인문학의 생산적 만남을 알아보는데 있다. 연구방법은 관련 문헌을 중심으로 한 문헌연구를 하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스포츠콘텐츠는 스포츠의 내용을 담고 있는 프로그램, 또는 장르라고 이해할 수 있다. 오늘날 스포츠는 단순한 경기와 중계에만 한정되지 않고 다양하게 그 영역을 확장하고 있다. 스포츠콘텐츠의 활용은 TV와 인터넷으로 구분할 때, TV스포츠콘텐츠의 활용은 차별화, 정보화, 전문화, 다각화라는 네 가지 차원에서 활용할 수 있다. 인터넷스포츠콘텐츠의 활용은 인터넷의 쌍방향 커뮤니케이션이 가능한 상호작용에서 찾을 수 있다. 둘째, 다양한 콘텐츠의 확보를 위해 스포츠콘텐츠와 스포츠인문학의 만남은 절실하다. 둘의 생산적 만남을 위하여 스포츠인문학의 교육과 연구를 늘려가야 한다. 왜냐하면 창의적 사고와 다양한 콘텐츠는 스포츠의 문학, 역사, 철학에 대한 교육과 연구를 통해서 형성되기 때문이다.
