This study is one of the preparation method for Korea badminton national team to prepare for 2010
Guangzhou Asian Games by analyzing service and service return course in Badminton women’s doubles match. Back in 2006 Doha Asian Games, team Korea did not win any gold medal and want to retrieve the reputation and it is a set goal to get a gold medal in coming up Asian Games. After having meetings with national team coaching staff, we have selected participants and have analyzed their matches. As a result, all the players favoured to service to straight and to the body course, however S2 and S3 tried to service to different courses. Furthermore, all the players who are participating in women’s doubles event know that most of the player are weak with their back hand position, thus, all subjects liked to do their service return to opponent’s back hand course. In future studies which would involve service or service return course, then they should also indicated the importance of where players are standing and also coaching staff’s point of
view. Furthermore, cohesion among pairs and coaches and their communication would provide positive data for badminton Korea.
