This research has been carried out a survey of 175 University students who currently have a relationship in any one of the four-year course Universities in Daejeon, which is about the personality type, the ideal mate selection (choice for the spouse), and the components of love to evaluate and analysis the study on the components of love and the conditions for the ideal mate selection based on the personality type of University students(field-centered, heart-centered, head-centered).
This research intends to provide the youth, who should choose the spouse, with the basic informations to achieve the mature love by enhancing the marriage satisfaction and preventing marital conflict and discord caused by the character incompatibility after marriage.

본 연구는 대학생의 성격유형(장 중심, 가슴중심, 머리중심)을 바탕으로 사랑의 구성요소 및 이상적인 배우자 선택조건에 관한 연구를 평가 분석하고자 대전광역시에 소재하고 있는 4년제 대학 중 한 곳을 임의로 선정하여 현재 이성교제경험을 하고 있는 재학 중인 대학생 총175명을 대상으로 자신의 성격유형 질문지 및 이상적인 배우자 선택, 사랑의 구성요소에 관한 질문지를 실시하였다. 본 연구는 배우자를 선택해야하는 성인기의 청년들을 대상으로 결혼 후에 일어나는 성격의 부조화로 인한 부부의 갈등, 불화를 가능한 예방하고 결혼 만족도를 높여 성숙한 사랑을 이루는데 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.
