The purpose of this study is suggesting a basic data for which scientific preservation and rehabilitation of modern architecture through the analyzing property of clay brick used in modern masonry architecture.
The clay brick which is used in the early 1900s has even lower properties such as compressive strength and absorbing ratio than present clay brick because of poor firing technique at that time. And, it could be possible to properties and effective stability estimation of modern architecture from nondestructive test which is significantly associated with properties.
