A Study on Improvement of Structure Performance of R/C Interior Beam-Column Joints without Shear Reinforcement under Cyclic Loads

In this study, experimental research was carried out to improve the structure performance of R/C interior beam-column joints without shear reinforcement using high ductile fiber-reinforced mortar.
Test result shows that retrofitting specimen(IJNSP1.0) designed by the improvement of structure performance of reinforced concrete interior beam-column joints, maximum load-carrying capacity was increased 1.1 times in comparison with the standard specimen.
The retrofitting specimen(IJNSP1.0, using high ductile fiber-reinforced mortar, designed with no shear reinforcement) show similarly load-carrying capacity although without shear reinforcement in comparison with standard specimen. For such joint, it is considered efficiently to attain shear
performance.
