In architectural design, the spatial connection and disconnection between spaces, or how to organize the spatial structure and design its quality is of importance. The purpose of the study is to understand the spatial organization of the pedestrian path in Chonnam National University and to suggest alternative circulation systems to improve the pedestrian movement. In order to establish an appropriate circulation structure, it is necessary to learn and practice how to read and interpret the spatial system. For this, the Space Syntax that is so useful in analyzing and comprehending space configuration, was used to analyze the spatial structure in built environment objectively and systematically.
