Finding a Way of Contemporary Architectural Space through Advent of the Cyber Space - Based on Jacques Derrida's Hauntology -
초록
영어
The territory of our life has been extending its boundary to the unusual space, such as the so-called cyberspace or virtual reality and it is hard to be explained by the fact from our past evidence about spaces we used to have. The irony has already existed that this space containing our lives and activities is not an actual space and this is the collapse of the common ideal. It is impossible to prove the cyberspace by using the facts we have. The cyberspace, in other words, is a haunt which compromises the common concept of spaces continuously. However, this phenomenon doesn't mean disorder or chaos. We can expect the beginning of possibility and to have a sence of novelty by the disorder. That is, the collapse is not only the risk but the chance to change. This study tries to define this difference ontologically by the Hauntology by Derrida who focused on the boundary of concept. Moreover, this study tries to define how the spatial sence is bulit up in the cyberspace and how this unfamiliar sence of space influences the physical space. This study is a step to take an approach to the basic instinct of space.
