The purpose of this research is analyze the relationship leisure competence and interpersonal relation propensity on participation type of sport for all. In order to achieve this goal, 400 persons were as subject. Out of 400 questionnaires distributed, but 91 questionnaires containing many double responses or no responses were disregarded such that 309(77.2%) were used for analysis.
Data analysis consisted of descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, scheffe post hoc tests, standard multiple regression analysis. Based on the results, The following conclusions were drawn:
First, as a result of the analysis of difference in the pattern of sports participation there was a partly difference by the demographic characteristic of persons which were gender, age, educational background, income, occupation of participation type of sport for all.
Second, participation type of sport for all has effect on leisure competence and interpersonal relation propensity. The higher participation purpose of sport for all more effected on leisure competence.
Third, leisure competence has partly effect on interpersonal relation propensity according to participation type of sport for all. That is, the higher mentality factor the stronger self-centeredness and normative-centered attitude.
