The purpose of this study was to find out differences between lifestyle on their personality and background of extreme sports' participants, sports socialization and their relationship. In contemporary society there are a few individuals or groups who do not, directly or indirectly, encounter elements of sports in their daily social lives. Some people may be actively involved as participants in a sporting activity; while others may be spectators of sporting events or sports enthusiasts via the mass media; still others may volunteer to work as coaches, referees, or administrative members of sports organizations. For our purposes, the sports categories and the number of participants in each category were as follows; 173 people in Inline Skating, 190 people were Snowboard participants, 200 people rode Mountain Bikes, 201 went for the Paragliding, 204 people did Rock Climbing. Total participants consisted of 968 people. A lifestyle measurement questionnaire that was developed by Lee(2005) was used to research the lifestyle of extreme sports' participants and as a measure Kim(2002) reconstructed the measure of sports socialization by Jeong(1971) to study sports socialization. From the 968 participants, it was found that on average, the standard deviation on the acquired lifestyle and sports socialization, employed one-way analysis of variance(One-Way ANOVA) and independent t-test, correlation and multiple regression methods. The results were followings.

Background variables and sports socialization
The results revealed that there were significant differences in the case of age(20's), marriage(Unmarried), monthly income(More than four million won), academic background(More than college-graduated), sporting events(Snowboard), skill level(Higher grade), the type of participation(individual), and frequency of participation(5-6 times every week) about sports socialization on background of the extreme sports' participants. On the other hand, there was no significant evidence in the case of sex distinction, the number of participation and the participated time in one activity.
Based on the results from the lifestyle and sports socialization of extreme sports' participants, there were several proposals as follows. the researchers may pay attention to developing the scale of lifestyle with more reasonable measure. Lastly, the researchers need to develop and apply the scale of sports socialization on the well reflected concrete society for the extreme sports participants
