The purpose of this research is to examine negative recognition of golf training markets in Korea and to find out the properties necessary to establish proper golf training culture. This research was conducted after I chose and interviewed 7 research participants who have golf related jobs and columnists, including assistant participants who are 2 semi-professional golfers and a country club employee.
The in-depth interview were conducted by using the way of individual interview, and the site selection was carried out in golf practice ranges or the places where the participants felt comfortable. Data analysis were conducted, based on the data collected through everyday conversation so that they could talk their experiences lively.
Transcription was put in force and validity and reliability were performed through triangulation and member check peer debriefing.
For this purpose, culture-technical research was used and the whole result is as follows.
First, golf instructors, should communicate opinions with customers smoothly by using golf terms correctly.
Second, golf instructors needs to have a lot of knowledge as professionals, make a study of teaching method, and improve practical skills.
Third, golf instructors' attitude play an important role in establishing desirable golf train culture.
Fourth, golf professionals emphasis the necessity for the institutional improvement in the culture of golf teaching, a change of system, and golf instructors's in-service training in Korea.
