This study is based on feminism and a caring access towards education to search the basis of teacher's social support. And with this as a foundation it understands how feminism and caring access provides meaning for teacher's social support for children.
The results of this research are as follows. First, teachers' social support prioritizes relations and mutuality based on 'relationships' between the teacher and the children. Second, teachers' social support is based on the needs and requests of the child. Teacher's social support is in line with a considerate feminine value that takes place only when interest and affection is provided for the child. Third, teacher's social support prioritizes practice of feminine qualities.
The teacher embraces children from their point of view and practices social support by taking feminine values such as interest, affection and caring seriously. Fourth, teachers' social support ultimately wishes for the children's happiness. Teachers lead children into happiness when they practice social support through recognition of authentic femininity with love and consideration for the children.

본 연구는 페미니즘과 교육에 대한 배려적 접근을 바탕으로 하여 교사의 사회적지지에 대한 근원을 탐색하였다. 그리고 이를 기초로 페미니즘과 배려적 접근이 아동에 대한 교사의 사회적지지에 주는 함의를 파악하였다.
본 연구 결과, 첫째, 교사의 사회적지지는 교사와 아동의 '관계맺음'을 기초한 관계성과 상호성을 중시한다. 둘째, 교사의 사회적지지는 아동의 필요와 요구에 기초한다. 즉, 교사의 사회적지지는 아동에게 주의를 기울이고 관심을 가져야만 일어날 수 있는 배려 중심의 여성적 가치와 맥을 같이 한다. 셋째, 교사의 사회적지지는 여성적 속성의 실천을 중시한다. 교사는 아동의 입장에서 그들을 수용하고 관심, 애정, 보살핌과 같은 여성적인 가치들의 진정한 의미를 살려 사회적지지를 실천한다. 넷째, 교사의 사회적지지는 아동의 행복을 지향한다. 교사는 아동에 대한 사랑과 배려의 마음으로, 고유한 여성성의 인식을 통해 사회적지지를 실천할 때, 아동을 궁극적으로 행복으로 이끈다.
