This study Survey and analysis the composition and the colors for a representative of the southwest coast of the main waterfront area of Mokpo coast poet Buildings. And then, they say the relationship of color image, composition principle, between satisfaction by regional landscape through User survey and evaluation. Taim of this syudy is to exhait directional of landscape color management/planning also to set the color data forplanning/mangement providing in Buildings of waterfront. As a result, the color of satisfaction on hadang district Buildings were found to be the main linear relationship in harmony with the surrounding nature→unity/continuity, locality→overall satisfaction. In detail, direct factor affecting the color image at harmony with the surrounding nature was analyzed by peaceful color images factor. And direct factor affecting the color image at unity was analyzed by luxurious and elegant color image. And direct factor affecting the color image at locality was analyzed by courtesy color image. The color satisfaction of the naehang district Buildings were found to be the main linear relationship in locality→unity / continuity→overall satisfaction. In detail, direct factor affecting the color image at locality was analyzed by courtesy color images factor. 본 연구는 내륙 도시와 다른 지역적 정체성을 갖는 해안도시의 경쟁력확보와 수변공간의 이미지에 대해 수변공간과 경관색채에 대한 올바른 이해를 토대로 서남해안의 대표적인 해안도시인 목포시의 주요 수변공간 가로변 건축물들의 구성과 색채를 조사·분석한 후 이용자 평가를 통해 조사지역별로 수변공간의 가로변 건축물 경관색채의 미의식과 그 미적판단기준을 실증적으로 규명하고자 경관색채 이미지, 구성원리, 만족도간의 인과관계를 밝힘으로서 수변공간의 가로변 건축물의 지역별 경관색채 관리 및 계획을 위한 방향성 제시와 향후 색채계획 및 관리기준 설정을 위한 자료 제공을 목적으로 연구를 진행하였다. 그 결과 하당지구 가로변 건축물들의 색채 만족도는 주변 자연과의 조화→통일성/연속성→전체만족도와 지역성→전체만족도로 주된 선형적 인과관계가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 그리고 세부적으로는 주변 자연과의 조화에 직접영향을 미치는 색채이미지 요인은 ‘은은함’의 색채 이미지 요인으로 분석되었다. 통일성은 ‘화려하고 우아한’ 색채이미지가 직접적인 영향을 미치며 지역성에는 ‘중후함’의 색채 이미지 요인이 직접적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 다음으로 내항지구 가로변 건축물들의 색채 만족도는 지역성→통일성/연속성→전체만족도의 선형적 인과관계가 있는 것으로 분석되었고, 세부적으로는 지역성에 직접영향을 미치는 색채이미지 요인은 ‘고상함’의 색채 이미지 요인으로 분석되었다. 통일성은 ‘맑은’ 색채이미지가 직접적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다.
