This research is for dancing performance activity and changing an expert into a general public in dancing art. Using a way to instruct people, I find method to present how educational philosophy is appropriate to the general. It is important to make relation dancing performance art with the society in my research. The dancing performance groups require instructional program designed for spectators' demands and psychological analysis based upon drawing the general public. Interior case is first step yet. Through the foreign case, I am looking for the alternative for dealing with program issue. In America, the basis of art education was founded on a fact that the government could accomplish prosperity of culture that extends the social instruction of the people and opportunity of culture enjoyment. In that view, education of art is being supported by policy related to public education and handled by means of cultural welfare in detail. Instruction of theater is appropriate to the model for developing a future audience because it consist of several programs reflecting current of an age and social requirement. The reason that I selected symphony space for the subject of this research is that I concluded that the relation between american culture and instruction of theater have built up properly. Through the CAP(Curriculum Art Project) of the program for children who will be an audience in the future in New York. Korea has to make a educational contents systemically in a condition which is already made of theater circumstances. Considering that program for the education is lack at the present, I am analyzing the CAP case for the educational contents and direction of study. Art educational program, CAP(Curriculum Art Project) which recomposes originally traditional culture of the world into current art education has an aim at approach to the art through the comprehension of art culture. The CAP is adequate to the demands of American society composed of several race. And the analysis of the CAP contents will be a good example for the theater dancing education required by social demands. It will be a case which help look for the method based upon understanding children who will be a future audience for searching the future system of instructional method. It is to be discussed in this research through the theoretical grounds of a view of marketing which is introduced to draw the people into the theater· by art education. Our device system for instruction is well prepared in community theater. But research is necessary to develop and practice programs.

본 연구의 목적은 무용공연예술 활성화와 전문인 위주로 구성되어 있는 관객층을 일반 대중으로 확대시키기 위한 방안 마련을 목적으로 한다. 극장 내 예술교육을 수단으로 사용 할 때 어떠한 교육철학이 제시되어야 하는 방법을 찾는다. 여기서 우리의 쟁점은 무용공연예술과 사회와의 관계성 설정문제이다. 공연예술단체는 극장 내에서 관객개발 기반 위에 세워진 관객의 심리분석과 요구에 대해 기획된 교육프로그램들을 요구한다. 국내사례는 아직 시작단계에 와 있는 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 프로그램 문제를 다루기 위해 외국 단체의 사례를 통해서 대안점을 찾아보겠다. 미국에서 예술교육기반은 정부에서 국민의 사회 교육적 기능과 문화향수의 기회를 넓히는 문화복지를 완수한다는 취지에서 세워졌다. 이러한 취지에서 예술교육은 정책적인 차원에서 공교육과 연계되어 지원되고 있으며， 문화복지의 수단으로 세분화 되어 다루어진다. 극장내의 무용교육 또한 이를 기
반으로 사회적요구와 시대의 흐름을 반영한 프로그램들로 이루어져 있어 미래의 관객을 개발을 위한 모형으로 적절하다. 연구대상으로 심포니스페이스를 선정한 이유는 1980년 이래 뉴욕의 미래관객인 아동관객을 위한 프로그램인 CAP(Curriculum Art Project) 를 통해 미국 문화와 극장교육 관계성 형성이 적절히 되어있다고 판단하였기 때문이다. 국내는 이미 구축되어 있는 극장의 환경적 여건 안에서 체계적인 교육내용이 마련되어야 한다. 이에 프로그램이 부족한 현실여건을 고려하여 교육
내용 및 방향성 연구를 위해 CAP사례를 분석한다. 예술교육프로그램 CAP(Curriculum Arts Project) 는 세계의 문화적인 전통을 현실 예술교육에 재구성해 놓은 창의성교육으로 문화에 대한 이해를 통해 예술에 대한 접근을 목적으로 한다. 다민족으로 구성된 미국사회의 문화적 요구에도 부합하는 CAP의 교과내용의 분석은 사회적 요구에 의한 극장무용교육의 하나의 모범적인 사례가 될 수 있다. 또한 미래적이고 체계적인 지도방안의 모색을 위해 미래관객인 아동의 이해를 바탕으로 구성된 방법론을 찾는데 한 사례가 될 수 있다. 예술교육이라는 새로운 관객개발 방식을 도입하게 된 마케팅적 관점의 이론적 배경과 국내외의 현황 분석을 통하여 개선안을 논의한다. 우리나라 사례와 연결 긍정적인 방향성 제시우리나라 지역사회의 극장 환경은 교육을 하기위한 하드웨어 부분은 잘 갖추어져 있다. 그러나 예술 프로그램의 개발과 실행이라는 소프트웨어적인 연구가 필요한 실정이다.
