This study focuses dance (movements) on treatment activities for students' isolation. It aimed at examining effects of a dance program on emotional expression and changes in sociality among developmentally-disabled learners. Analysis was performed on the process of designing and irnplementing a treatment program for three elementary school children showing syrnptom of developmental disabilities. Discussions were held with three questions: 1) How did a dance program affect concentration among developmentally-disabled students? 2) How did a dance program change performance by developmentally-disabled students? 3) How did a dance program affect the development of self-concept among students with developmental disabilities?

본 연구는 무용 프로그램이 발달장애 학습자의 정서표현 및 사회성 변화에 미치는 효과를 검증하는데 그 목적을 두었으며， 발달장애 증상을 보인 세 명의 초등학생에 대 한 치료 프로그램을 설계하고 시행하는 과정을 분석하였다. 연구내용은 1) 무용 프로그램은 발달이상 학생의 주의집중에 어떠한 영향력을 했는가? 2) 무용 프로그램은 발달이상 학생의 성적에 어떠한 변화를 주었는가? 3) 무용 프로그램은 발달이상 학생의 자아개념 발달에 어떠한 영향력을 행사했는가? 라는 세 가지 차원에서 논의되었다.
