This paper, centering on related texts, examined how 'rumors' are composed and transformed. Until now, has been focused on 'prohibited love' or 'sexual story'. But there have been more or less difficulties in finding the causes and aspects of various changes of related texts. Accordingly, this paper looked into a variety of changes and relationship of related texts by paying attention to a cultural phenomenon named 'a rumor' as well as problems of 'love'. First of all, is dealing with 'a rumor' as a main motif by accepting problems of 'a rumor' in the text itself. And, rumors were composed in the method in which the publicity of rumors is reinforced and collective unconsciousness is represented through rumors. Meanwhile, ambilaterality of rumors of tension and amusement is realized as it is. In the meantime, it also shows a shape of checking rumors through a method in which the probability of an event is reduced and changed through text transformation. Like this, an aspect of changes in related texts and their relation could be significantly interpreted by explaining related texts as well as 'prohibited love' through a cultural phenomenon of 'rumors'.

이 논문의 목적은 <쌍화점>관련 텍스트를 대상으로 소문이 어떻게 구성되고 변용되는가를 살피는 데에 있다. <쌍화점>을 ‘소문’이라는 문화적 현상을 통해 새롭게 해석하고, 이를 바탕으로 관련 텍스트들 간의 상호 관계성을 고찰하였다. 먼저 <쌍화점>은 소문을 텍스트 자체에 수용하여 주요 모티브로 다루고 있다. 그리고 제재의 익명성과 동일한 사건의 확장적 반복을 통해 소문의 공공성을 강화하여 소문을 통해 집단적 무의식을 표출하는 기능을 하고 있다. 그리고 긴장과 유희의 양가성을 함께 구현함으로써 소문의 일상적 맥락화를 시도하였다. 이후 나타나는 텍스트 변용은 사건의 개연성을 축소하고 변용하는 방식을 통해 소문을 검열하고 교정하는 모습을 보여주고 있다. 이와 같이 본 논문은 <쌍화점>관련 텍스트를 ‘금지된 애정’과 더불어 ‘소문’이라는 문화적 현상을 통해 설명함으로써 <쌍화점>관련 텍스트의 변이 양상 및 그 관계를 해석하였다는 데 의미가 있다.
