This study was aimed to examine the influences of preschool teacher's positive or negative affect to three dimensions of relationship with infant, care-givers, or social networks. Five public preschool teachers in Seoul were recruited. They were requested to answer to the open question inventory and were interviewed. First, about relationship with infants, teachers felt positive affect in when the infant responded positively to the class but felt negative affect when the infant responded against teacher's expectations. Second, about relationship with parents, teachers felt positive affect when parents treated them carefully but felt negative affect when parents rudely. Third, regarding social network, teachers felt positive affect when they worked cooperatively with coworkers but felt negative affect when they were neglected or were not able to work independently. If positive affect of teachers make good care for childhood, we should prepare the policy that make teacher's positive affect enhance and negative affect endure.

본 연구는 유치원 현장에서 교사가 느끼는 긍정적 정서와 부정적 정서를 정서의 요소별로 분석하고자 한다. 연구대상은 서울시내 공립유치원 교사 5인이었고 연구방법은 개방형 설문지와 인터뷰를 사용하였다. 첫째, 교사들은 유아들이 교사의 수업에 긍정적으로 반응하며 잘 따라올 때 긍정적인 정서를 느꼈으며, 유아들이 교사의 바램과는 다른 반응을 보일 때 부정적인 정서를 느꼈다. 둘째, 교사들은 학부모가 교사를 따뜻하게 배려할 때 긍정적인 정서를 느꼈으며, 학부모가 교사에게 예의 없이 대할 때 부정적인 정서를 느끼고 있었다. 셋째, 교사들은 조직구성원들이 협력하여 함께 일을 하고 도와줄 때, 긍정적인 정서를 느끼고 있으며, 조직구성원들이 서로 배려하지 않거나 독립적으로 일을 수행할 때 부정적인 정서를 느끼고 있었다. 이상의 연구에서 교사들의 정서가 좋은 수업에 영향을 준다고 볼 때 긍정적 정서는 더 유지되고 확장되어야 할 것이고, 부정적 정서가 발생할 때에는 교사들이 그것을 극복할 수 있는 다양한 지원책이 제시되어야 할 것이다.
