This study explores the possibility of Gyeongju's new direction to become the healing mecca. This paper examines the economic and social changes, and it explores how these changes influence our lives. As a result of these changes, individuals and society as a whole start to pay attention about the healing. Therefore, it discusses the importance of healing in 21 century. This paper also suggests the possible healing programs Gyeonju can offer. Finally, through the field study, healing program in Gyeonju proves the possiblity of important tourism product. The field study finds out that that tourists are more interested in healing related program than the general tourism program.
