The Effect of Fitness Between the Types of Strategies and Human Resource Management on the Performance of Organization

The purposes of this study is to examine the effect of fitness between the types of Strategies and Human Resource Management on Organization Performance. This study is considering the types of Strategies that were developed by porter(1980,1985) Fomburn & Walley(1989), Dess & Davis(1984). And the Strategies were measured by the level of Strategic business unit. In this study, the raw data were gathered from manufacturing firms by structured questionnaires. The fitness of this Study was measured by the fitness of selectional approach and the fitness of interactional approach. The fitness of selectional approach was examined by the correlation between Strategy types and Human Resource Management action. A multiple regression model was adopted for testing the interaction effects of the two variables on BSC performance. correlation analytical results on two variables indicate that there are more or less congruence relationship and fitting relationship between several dimension of the variables in the korean manufacturing sector. The multiple regression analysis indicate that the fitness between Strategy types and Human Resource Management action has an significant influence on BSC performance.
