Ubiquitous environment aims to take a communication service and computing service without the limitation of the time and space. VoIP service is one among the techniques to be used widely in such environment.
VoIP in a ubiquitous environment is used mostly in the private network to have the effect of the fire wall, and problems to be solved technically exist for this environment. In this paper, we introduce the SBC method to solve the problem of VoIP operation in a private network environment, and we propose new method to improve the SBC.

유비쿼터스 환경은 시간과 공간의 제약 없이 언제 어디서든지 자신이 원하는 통신 서비스 및 컴퓨팅 서비스를 제공받을 수 있는 환경이다. VoIP 서비스는 이러한 환경 구축을 위해 구현되어야 할 기본적이며 가장 광범위하게 사용 될 기술 중에 하나이다. 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 VoIP는 방화벽의 효과를 내는 사설망에서 많이 운용되며, 이를 위하여 기술적으로 해결해야 할 문제들이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 방화벽 환경에서 발생하는 VoIP 운용의 문제점을 해결하는 SBC 방법을 소개하고, 이 방법을 개선하기 위한 방안을 제안한다.
