Inhibition of growth and activity of oxidation bacteria for reducing acid mine drainge

In this study, the Influence of microorganism on the process where the acid mine drainage (AMD) delete was released and the method to inhibit occur AMD was found. Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans and Acidithiobacillus thiooxidans, the microorganism which affects in AMD occurrence, were measured activity and growth and the chlorinedioxide(CH2O), NaCl, and
surfactant was used for inhibit activity and growth of microorganism. The optimum condition of reduce AMD was 10ppm of chlorinedioxide.
