The aim of this paper is to stretch, inspire and develop the conception of christian worship in order to challenge, enrich and transform the notion of the form and content of christian ethics. The author has chosen to perceive the discipline of christian ethics through the lens of christian worship, most particularly of the sacrament. The contemporary christian church faces upon the crucial situation, which is caused by the personalization of worship. The worship is by nature a practice of community. It looks out on the neighbor as well as on God. If the worship is personalized, the church as a body of Christ fall into the private spirituality. Sermon and sacrament are two indispensible parts of worship. The reason for its personalization may be found in the ignorance of sacrament. The protestant worship lays emphasis traditionally on the sermon, while the catholic one attaches importance to the sacrament. As a result both elements of worship are deprived of their identity. The restoration of worship falls back upon the reestablishment of sacrament, for it is a basic discipline, which endows the identity of church. The worship community recognizes its relation to God and to its neighbor for the first time in the sacrament. Participating on baptism and sharing the blood and flesh of Christ, every participant of sacrament is reconciliated with God and with each other. Sacrament implicates already the social-ethical meaning, prefiguring the christian behavior in social reality and the role of church for the world. Thus sacrament represents not only a liturgy, but also social activity. The worship should not be seperated from ethics, in the same way it cannot put the christian life aside. The personalization of worship robs christian existence of its social reality and makes the church a Gehtto, which is isolated from the world. Where can we find on earth our neighbor, if we fails to find him in worship? The crisis of church initiates from within. It begins with the loss of it's identity as a body of Christ. In this respect the reestablishment of sacrament may be an urgent request for the church. It leads church to the community towards neighbor and towards the world. God's grace cannot be a possession of man, for it is a gift, which belongs to God himself. Thus he who receives God's grace, can, and cannot but share it with his neighbor. When he occupies this grace for himself, it disappears abruptly. The christian existence is "being for others", otherwise it would be gone.
