Salvation in this study means that is from God and only through Jesus Christ to save whole person from not only disease and pain due to the sin including Spirit. Salvation has been attained already and also it is explained as a process of being attained. Ultimately, Soul wining counseling is defined in a narrow viewpoint to introduce the gospel of Christ through the scriptures to the one who struggles for salvation personally as well as to the one who wants to be saved through the scriptures and in results the counselee accepts Christ Jesus as their savior to receive the eternal life as the gift from God.
Content of Soul winning counseling contains three components for salvation are the faith for personal salvation, repent and confess through the mouth. That is, through the faith in Christ Jesus, leading the person to welcome Christ as the Savior in the process, together with in repentance to realize the seriousness of sinfulness, guilt, powerlessness and so one can repent of sin in order to help one to be changed from inside out. That is the whole process of Soul winning counseling in this paper.
Practicality for Soul winning counseling is a) diagnosis the condition of counselee’s spirit & soul b) to help counselee to realize that they are sinners through their problem as well as the counselor proclaims the gospel of salvation through Christ Jesus c) in response, help counselee to welcome Christ as their savior. This study presents examples for practical methods of Soul winning counseling at the last session.

본 연구에서 ‘구원’이란 하나님께로부터 시작되어 오직 예수 그리스도를 통해 이루어진 인간의 죄로 인한 질병과 고통뿐만 아니라 영혼에 대한 전인격적 구원을 의미한다.
결국 구원상담(soul wining counseling)이란 구원의 좀 더 좁은 의미에서, 개인적으로 구원에 대하여 갈등을 느끼고 있거나 또는 말씀을 듣고 구원을 받기 원하는 사람들에게 하나님의 말씀을 통하여 그리스도의 복음을 소개함으로써 내담자가 예수 그리스도를 자신의 구세주로 영접하여 하나님의 선물인 영생을 얻을 수 있도록 도와주는 상담으로 정의한다. 구원상담의 내용으로는 개인의 구원을 이루기 위한 믿음, 회개, 입으로 시인하는 구원의 3요소 과정을 포함해야 한다. 즉 예수 그리스도에 대한 믿음을 통해 예수 그리스도를 구주로 영접하기로 결단하는 신앙고백으로 인도해 가는 과정과 함께 회개를 통해 인간의 심각한 죄성, 죄책, 무력함에 대하여 깨닫게 하여 하나님께 죄의 뉘우침과 방향을, 행위 뿐 아니라 내적으로 전환하도록 돕는 전 과정이 포함된다.
구원상담을 위한 실제적인 방법은 먼저는 내담자의 영혼 상태를 진단하고, 내담자로 하여금 자신의 문제를 통해 죄인임을 깨닫게 함과 동시에 상담자는 예수 그리스도를 통한 구원의 복음의 메시지를 선포할 수 있어야 하고, 이것에 대해 내담자가 개인적 결단을 통해 예수 그리스도를 구주로 영접할 수 있도록 도와야 한다. 본 논문에서는 구원상담의 실제적인 방법을 위한 사례 연구를 제시하였다.
