The main purpose of this study is to propose some political and practical alternatives for the effective social welfare service for the married working women. For this purpose, this study tried to explore and to evaluate structural relations between QOL, self-esteem, job satisfaction, and marriage satisfaction of married working women. Structural relations between factors were set as a study model that was according to empirical study process. Randomly sampled 521 cases were surveyed with structurally designed questionnaires. As a result, self-esteem and job-satisfaction has direct influences on the QOL of married working women. This means that the self-esteem and job-satisfaction of the married working women should be improved in order to promote the QOL of the married working women. For this promotion, married working women need to participate in leisure activities, life-time education programs and should try to develop themselves. Therefore, the policies should be implemented for the married working females to participate in development programs. The support from family members could improve the self-esteem and job-satisfaction levels of theirs. In the workplace, flexible work time program, as an example, should be helpful for the married working women in harmonizing their life and work.

기혼여성들은 가정 내의 가사및 양육을 포함한 돌봄, 감정노동들의 생활에서 중추적인 역할을 맡아왔었고, 여성취업이 당연하게 보이는 현재에도 전통적인 성 역할 사이에서 기혼 취업여성들은 여전히 역할갈등에 직면해 있다. 본 연구는 기혼취업여성의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인들 간의 구조적 관계를 분석함으로써 보다 효과적이고 효율적인 여성복지 서비스 제공을 위한 이론적 근거를 제시하고자 하였다. 분석결과 기혼취업여성의 주관적 삶의 질에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 요인은 기혼취업여성의 자아존중감과 직업만족인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기혼취업여성의 주관적 삶의 질 향상을 위하여 기혼취업여성의 여가 및 취미활동이나 평생교육 참여 등, 자기 개발을 위한 노력과 정책적으로 기혼취업여성을 대상으로 하는 자기 개발 교육프로그램 등을 실시하는 것을 제시하고, 가정에서는 가족들의 지지와 사회적으로는 취업여성의 일과 삶의 조화를 가능하게 만드는 탄력적인 근무제와 육아문제 및 취업여성이 처한 직장과 가정의 일의 이중고에 대한 처우 개선과 인식의 전환을 제시하였다.
