Human exists in the infinite frame of space and be put in the flow of time. Time and space are basic concepts that prove the existence of mankind. The history of mankind has repeated changes and transitions and design also has been developed continuously through the flow of time. The substance of this study is time, space, and movement. I explored symbol form of perceptional movement in identity design that went beyond timely paradigm of analogue and digital. As a result, I found out that two-dimensional plane also can embody time and space and it expresses symbol form which can explain more clearly. I organized and explained this as a continuum of time – stream, numbers, origine, expansion of space –fullness, voidness, field, Organism of Time & Space agglomeration– convergence, transcendental, existence. Identity design that shows such perceptional movement shows very unique and distinct shapes. Identity design is evolving. Most symbol forms from art nouveau, early modernism, art deco, late modernism, and to minimalism have been pursuing simple and clear symbol. However, the symbol that expresses the movement of time and space are clearly and freshly expressing the identity for very progressive and dynamic object of image from diverse expression methods, skills, and process of digitalization as if representing the digital media era.

인간은 공간이라는 무한적 틀에 존재하고 시간의 흐름 속에 놓여있다. 시간과 공간은 인류의 존재를 증명하는 기본적 개념으로 인식의 관점은 고정된 시각을 벗어난다. 인류의 역사는 변화와 변천을 거듭하여 왔으며 디자인 역시 시대의 흐름에 따라 많은 발전을 이루며 오늘에 이르렀다. 본 연구의 실체는 시간과 공간 그리고 움직임이다. 이는 아날로그와 디지털이라는 시대적 패러다임을 넘어 아이덴티티 디자인에서 나타나는 심볼 형태의 지각적 움직임을 고찰했는데 결과는 2차원적인 평면에서도 시간과 공간을 구현하고 대상에 대한 본질적 개념을 보다 명쾌하게 설명하는 심볼의 형태가 표현될 수 있음을 알아냈다. 이를 시간의 연속체-흐름, 수(나눔), 근원, 공간의 확장세-채움, 비움, 바탕, 시공복합체의 유기-합쳐짐, 넘어섬, 있음으로 정리하여 설명했다. 이러한 지각적 움직임을 보여주는 아이덴티티 디자인은 매우 독특하고 차별화된 형태의 실험성을 나타낸다. 아이덴티티 디자인은 진화한다. 과거 아르누보 스타일에서 초기 모더니즘, 아르데코, 후기 모더니즘, 미니멀리즘 스타일 등에 이르기까지 심볼의 형태들은 대부분 단순 명료한 단일형 상징을 추구하고 있다. 그러나 시공간의 움직임을 표현하는 심볼은 디지털 미디어 시대를 대변하는 듯 디지털화의 다양한 표현 방법과 기법, 그리고 전개에 이르기까지 매우 진취적이고 역동적인 이미지의 대상에 대한 정체성을 극명하고도 신선하게 표출시키고 있다.
