Despite of considerable accumulation of research about the effect of organizational communication satisfaction(OCS), there are a few tries of integratedly modeling the direct and indirect effects of OCS. For overcoming the limitations of previous studies, this study selected university employees as a unit of analysis and then constructed a model in which OCS directly and indirectly affects job satisfaction, organizational commitment and customer orientation. After conducting a survey of a group of university employees, this study tested the research model by using structural equation modeling. The result shows that OCS had a significant effect on job satisfaction and then job satisfaction affected organizational commitment significantly. Also, this study found that the effects of OCS could be controlled by gender and the years of employment.

조직 커뮤니케이션 만족의 효과에 대한 연구가 상당히 축적되었음에도 불구하고 조직커뮤니케이션 만족의 직접적 및 간접적 영향력을 통합적으로 모형화하려는 시도는 많지 않는 실정이다. 이러한 기존 연구의 한계를 극복하기 위해 이 연구에서는 조직구성원을 분석단위로 설정한 뒤, 조직커뮤니케이션 만족이 직무 만족, 조직몰입, 그리고 고객지향성에 대해 직접적 및 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 모형을 구성하였다. 대학 교직원 집단을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 뒤 구조방정식 모형을 활용하여 분석한 결과, 조직커뮤니케이션 만족이 직무 만족에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 직무 만족이 조직몰입에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이 연구에서는 조직커뮤니케이션 만족의 영향력이 성별 및 근속년수에 의해 조절될 수 있음을 발견하였다.
