This study aims to search for problems and the resolution on Skin Care Therapy Certificate system by reflecting opinions of Skin Care Therapist. To do this, it analyzes the status of acquisition of Skin Care Therapy Certificate by job position and investigates skin care therapist satisfaction on the certificate system. A survey was performed on 217 subjects of skin care therapist and skin care business owners from all over the country. For statistics, SPSS 12.0 was employed to analyze the collected data. The results are shown as follows: With related to the matters to improve current examination system for Skin Care Therapy Certificate, the results are shown as follows. Regarding the subjects to be add to the written test, for employees, 'Obesity Management' and 'Beauty Service' are 19.0% and 18.2%, respectively; for employers, 'Beauty Management' and Beauty Service are 19.6% and 15.7%, respectively. Subjects to be add to the practical test are: for employees, 'no necessity to add' and 'Appliance Management' are 18.6% and 11.5%, respectively; for employers, 'Appliance Management' and 'Meridian Pathways Management' are 26.4% and 24.5%, respectively. The interest of appliance management was shown high in both higher position and lower position of the skin care jobs.

현행 피부미용 국가자격제도 및 시험에 대한 피부미용사의 만족도를 파악하고 국가자격증의 취득현황을 살펴보고자 경영자와 피부미용사 그룹으로 나눠 각각 200부씩 설문지를 전국에 배포하고 이중 217부를 SPSS WIN12.0으로 최종 분석 하였다. 자격시험의 필기시험에 추가할 교과목은 피부미용 종사자의 경우 ‛비만관리학’ 19.0%, ‛미용서비스학’ 18.2% 순서로 나타났으며, 경영자의 경우 ‛미용경영학’ 19.6%, ‘미용서비스학’ 15.7% 순서로 나타나 실무분야와 경영관리분야로 선호경향이 나뉘었다. 실기시험에 추가할 교과목은 피부미용 종사자의 경우 ‘추가할 필요 없다’ 18.6%, ‘기기관리’ 11.5% 나타났으며, 경영자의 경우 ‘기기관리’ 26.4%, ‘경락관리’ 24.5%로 나타났다. 직급과 관계없이 기기관리에 대한 호응이 공통적으로 높았으며 현 자격시험 제도를 바라보는 직급별 만족도는 피부미용 종사자 2.89, 경영자 3.30으로 경영자의 평균 만족도가 높게 나타났다(p<0.01).
