Le Corbusier (1887-1965) introduces various works after settling down in Paris, in 1917. Architectural experiments were conducted by proposing the ‘Dom-ino system’ and a number of plans of a ‘Cite-ouvriere’ accepted this system, and by presenting the Maison Citrohan in ‘Salon d’Automne’ in 1920. The tested architectural languages were embodied by realizing residential plans designed for periods after 1922. Since then, he presented approximately 30 residential works in various condition and architectural environments including the ‘Les quatre compositions’ in 1930. A purpose of the research was to classify the residential architectures in 1920s (which was referred to as ‘Le Corbusier’s White Period’) and to see the process of structuring architectural theories, which was insisted as a ‘Ver une architecture’ for coming 20th century, by analysing the classified 1920s’ villas.
