This study investigated if there are differences in narcissism and dominance according to gender and aggression types. Participants were 427 middle school students at Seoul and Gyunggido. The results indicated that (a) the score of narcissism for the relational aggressive group was higher than that for the overt aggressive group and non-aggressive group, (b) the score of dominance for the overt․relational aggressive group was higher than that for the overt aggressive group and non-aggressive group, and (c) there were no differences in narcissism and dominance according to gender or the interaction among gender and aggression types. These results suggested the understanding and practical guides about the aggression behaviors in the classroom.

본 연구에서는 청소년에게 나타나는 성과 공격성 유형에 따른 심리적 특성을 알아보기 위해 중학생 427명(남234명, 여193명)을 대상으로 성과 공격성 유형(외현적 공격성, 관계지향적 공격성, 외현적․관계지향적 공격성, 비공격성)에 따라 자기애와 지배성의 차이가 있는지 살펴보았다. 분석 결과 첫째, 관계지향적 공격성 집단이 외현적 공격성 집단이나 비공격적 집단에 비해 자기애 성향이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 외현적․관계지향적 공격성 집단이 외현적 공격성 집단이나 비공격적 집단에 비해 지배성이 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 성별에 따른 차이나 성과 공격성 유형에 따른 상호작용은 유의미하지 않았다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 교실장면에서 나타나는 공격적 행동 및 집단따돌림 현상을 이해하고 중재하는데 필요한 여러 시사점들을 제공하고 있다.
