This study focuses on finding out the social welfare thoughts of Kyung-Chik Han who had practiced social welfare satisfactorily through his church. and offer the desirable example of church social welfare. His practicing in church social welfare belongs to social welfare and to missionary work. Han perceived that there must be the separation between pastoral works and activities of social welfare. and his affection for his homeland made the system of church social welfare which integrate church, society, nation and God's kingdom. He showed the church social welfare system that an external-combustion is an internal-combustion. This system means that if there was filled with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and then social welfare activities overflowed the whole world. His principles of church social welfare based on the Gospel include that of a professional social welfare practice and seek after not a temporary makeshift but a fundamental change and improvement. And also his the value and the principles of church social welfare can be applied to the methods of professional social welfare.
