A Proposal for the Automation Process of Creating Shop Drawings in Steel Constructions

Interoperability is possible to Architecture Engineering Constructions(AEC) industry by introducing Building information Model(BIM). The Shop-drawings are created directly from 3D detail model based on the BIM and it increases the productivity of shop-drawings effectively. The current creating process of the shop drawings is to repeat the assigning of the properties for every drawings and then, this complicated procedure is needed to be intelligent. This paper proposes for the smart creating process of shop drawings to the sort of drawing types. The drawings guideline and standard are analysed and manipulated to Data Base(DB), which
is packaged to establish the process. This smart process could solve the unnecessary time waste, duplication input and error occurrence etc. and provide speed and effective productivity of creating shop-drawings
