A Study on the Organization and Genealogy of Japanese Architectural Engineers in Early 20th Century Korea

The purpose of this study is to figure out the organization and genealogy of Japanese architectural engineers in the early 20th century of Korea. The organization of them is largely divided by three classes, government officials of Chosun Chongdokbu, the teaching staffs, and companies. The genealogy of governmental officials was previously linked with Iwai-Shasa-Hagiwara from graduates of Tokyo empire university, and they had consequently with chairman of Chosun Institute of Architecture. The teaching staffs of Kyungsung Institute of Engineering, the higher education institute occasionally hold an additional staffs of Chosun Governor-General. The genealogy of them was previously linked with Huzisima-Nomura from graduates of Tokyo empire university, and they had lectured on architectural history. The commercial enterprises are composed with companies, contractors and private sectors. The genealogy of these commercial enterprises was represented with rather craftmanship than a graduate.
