This is a study on identity of education on commerce for revitalization of high school in commerce field. This study consists of 5 chapters. First chapter is introductory remarks and second chapter is about background factors of confusion in identity in commerce education consequent to lack of perception on education of curriculum, expansion on contents of computer education along with abrupt change in education of commerce as well as change in various conditions surrounding education of commerce. In Chapter 3 this author searched for measures for establishing firm identity with regard to each factor contributed for causing confusion in identity. In this chapter focus was on heightening consciousness on education of curriculum, dramatic change in perception of computer education and reviewing preceding studies on expansion of method for teaching and study in consideration of special characteristics of compilation, operation and education of commerce for maximizing effect of such education. In Chapter 4 this author carried out study on education curriculum with the main focus on disputed issues with regard to confusion of identity and establishment of such identity. In this chapter also addressed was the issue of revision of operation and educational policy. Also covered in this chapter were study on school operation system and on measures for heightening sense of main player in educational community and on major disputed issues related to confusion and establishment of identity and change in environment surrounding education of commerce. Finally in Chapter 5 in connection with this study this author suggested measures for revitalization of education of commerce and for establishing its identity in terms of education based on curriculum which is theoretical basis among themes deliberated in this study. This author looks forward to advent of better future in education of commerce when problems listed in this treatise and measures for its solution may be reflected to policy after passing through process of choice and concentration.

본 연구는 상업계고등학교 활성화를 위한 상업교육 정체성에 관한연구로 제1장 서론, 2장 상업교육 정체성 혼돈의 배경적 요인으로 교과교육에 대한 인식부족, 상업교육환경의 급격한 변화로서 컴퓨터 교육 내용의 확대, 상업교육을 둘러싼 제반 환경의 변화를 살펴보았다. 이어 3장에서 정체성 혼돈 요소별 확립 방안 탐색을 모색하였다. 탐색 방안으로는 교과교육에 대한 인식 제고, 상업교육에 있어서 컴퓨터 교육에 대한 인식의 혁신적 변화, 상업교육 효과 극대화를 위한 교육과정 편성 ․ 운영, 상업교육의 환경적 특성을 고려한 교수 - 학습방법의 활용 확대에 대해 선행연구를 중심으로 기술하였다. 다음으로 4장에서는 본 연구의 목적인 정체성 혼돈과 확립에 관련된 쟁점 과제를 주제로 교육과정 : 운영과 개정에 관한 문제, 교육정책 : 학교 운영 체제(시스템), 교육공동체의 주체의식 제고 : 상업교육을 둘러싼 환경의 변화와 정체성 혼돈과 확립에 관련된 쟁점상 주요 과제를 요약하는 연구를 진행하였다. 끝으로 제5장에서는 본 연구와 관련하여 논의된 주제 중에서 가장 중요한 이론적 기반이 되는 교과교육에 많은 지면을 할애하여 교과교육을 통한 상업교육의 활성화와 정체성 확립방안에 대한 계기를 제공하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 문제점과 해결방안이 선택과 집중을 통한 정책으로 반영되어 점차적으로 해결된다면 우리 상업교육의 보다 밝은 미래가 도래할 것이라 기대한다.
