This study uses materials from Korean≪Si Li Pian Ran≫and analyzes the structure of funeral rituals and characteristics of religious system in traditional Korean culture. Especially it examines characteristics of funeral rituals and religious system of soul shown therein in cultural structure of traditional Korean society, which is an advanced understanding of the value of funeral ritual structure as a form of ritual in the context of traditional Korean culture, based on communication for balance in a family or balance in a society , as a goal of practical behavior and interpersonal relationship for balance in a person and religious activity for balance in nature . It re-examines the structure of funeral ritual and soul ideas as an organic, interpersonal system associated with nature in terms of the structure in traditional Korean cultural value system. It also examines characteristics of traditional perception on soul ideas and the structural system of funeral ritual to identify traditional perception on soul ideas and the behavioral system of funeral ritual in Korean society.

本硏究는 韩國≪四礼便览≫의 喪禮資料를 사용하고 構造論에 의해서 韩國傳統文化의 喪葬儀禮構造와 信仰系統의 特徵을 整理하여 分析한 것이다. 특히 韩國傳統社會의 文化構造시스템에서 喪葬儀禮와 그 儀禮에 나타난 靈魂信仰體系의 特徵을 살펴보았으며, 韩國傳統文化시스템에서 보이는 個人均衡의 實用行爲와 人際關系의 목표인 家族均衡혹은 社會均衡의 意思疏通行爲와 自然均衡의 宗敎行爲를 바탕으로 韩國傳統文化의 喪葬儀禮가치를 儀式行爲로 進一步理解한 것이다. 즉 韩國傳統文化價値시스템 중에 喪葬儀禮의 構造와 靈魂觀念을 有机体的인 시스템，人間关系의 시스템 그리고 自然关系와의 시스템 등을 喪葬儀禮의 構造的인 層面에서 再照明한 것이다. 또한 韩國人의 전통적인 靈魂觀과 宇宙觀을 喪葬儀禮의 構造的인 시스템에서 그 特徵을 찾아 整理하였고, 그 특징에서는 韩國人의 傳統적인 靈魂觀念과 喪葬儀禮의 行爲시스템을 알 수 있었다.
