Pakistan had aggressive to Foreign Direct Investment(FDI) as a source of the capital, technology and managerial skills needed for economic growth and development. The pakistan government should emphasize both export promotion policy and inward FDI to get the desired results of economic growth. The paper identifies the key role of trade and investment liberalization in Pakistan. This paper has suggested some of the factors essential for attracting FDI in Pakistan. The success of Pakistan in attracting FDI lies in an investment climate characterized by growing markets and increasingly favourable regulatory frameworks. More openness and deregulation to FDI are complementary to economic growth in Pakistan. This proposal of the paper to capture more inward FDI will bring about more economic prosperity for Pakistan.

파키스탄은 경제성장과 발전을 위해 필요한 자본, 기술, 그리고 관리기법 등 외국인 직접투자에 대해 적극적이었다. 파키스탄 정부는 바람직한 경제성장의 결과를 얻어내기 위해 수출촉진 정책과 외국인 직접투자 유입을 강조하였다. 본 논문에서 파키스탄에서 무역과 투자자유화의 주요 역할에 대해 구체화하였다. 뿐만 아니라 본 논문을 통해 파키스탄에서 매력적인 외국인 직접투자에 필요한 요인들에 대해 제언하였다. 파키스탄의 매력적인 외국인 직접투자에서의 파키스탄의 성공여부는 성장시장으로 특징된 투자분위기와 점차 우호적으로 변하는 규제의 프레임워크에 달려있다. 무엇보다 파키스탄에서 외국인 직접투자에 대한 더 많은 개방과 규제철폐는 경제성장과 상호보완적이다. 더 많은 투자유입을 달성하기 위해 이러한 제언은 파키스탄의 경제성장에 도움이 될 것이다.
