Technostress is an important fallout of the inevitable use of ICTs in organizations and illustrates the bivalent nature of their organization influence. In this preliminary research, we investigate the antecedents of technostress from organization, personal, and task view points and analyze their impact on individual performance and organization effectiveness. In addition, we examine the direct and moderating effect of technology turbulence and coping strategies on these two dependent variables: individual performance and organization effectiveness. The data for this preliminary test were collected from 98 employees of Korean companies. Additional discussion and implications of the empirical findings are discussed in this paper.
