In this paper I have researched the meaning of hyo behind the common sense focusing the strangers and community problems in 1Peter. 1Peter shows us unsecure social situations and bipolarism of community, conflicts and stress. Concerning the current society haustafeln in 1Peter may be a teaching of awakening to God and loving brothers. In this sense biblical hyo is serving parents as well as serving others all by imitating Jesus Christ who is real free. Biblical hyo means the remembrance of Christ and seeks to harmonious life of members in bearing hardship.

본 연구자는 베드로전서에 나타난 나그네와 공동체 문제에 기초하여 효의 배후적 의미를 연구하였다베드로전서는 불안한 사회적 상황과 공동체 내에서의 양극화갈등과 긴장을 드러내고 있다이러한 시대 상황을 고려할 때 베드로전서의 가훈표는 그리스도 안에서 하나님을 두려워하고 형제를 사랑하라는 가르침이다결국 성경적 효는 영혼의 자유로움으로 오신 그리스도를 본받아 모든 사람을 섬기는 자로서 어버이를 섬기라는 것이다성경적 효는 그리스도에 대한 기억이며힘든 상황에서 서로 섬기는 조화로운 삶을 추구한다.
