This thesis examines the practical theology of Keun-Won Park who is the major figure among practical theologians in Korea. The author first discusses the practical theology of Rudolf Bohren, a pioneer in this field, and his seven areas of practical theology, namely, Christian life, homiletics, church education, pastoral care, diakonia and church administration. He then deals with the progress that Park has made in developing his own theory of practical theology. At first in 1975 Park, while following Bohren's mission-centered theory of practical theology, slightly readjusted the sequence of the seven areas in this way: mission, worship, preaching, pastoral care, church education, evangelization and church administration. After that by changing what he normally had called practical theology to theological (shinhak) praxis (doing theology) he set up a new milestone in this field. This change was closely related to the replacement of a very theoretical theology unconnected to ministry in the field and the political situation in Korea at that time. Park not only increased the number of theological praxis areas to nine, he also changed their order: Christian life, ministry, worship, preaching, pastoral care, church community, mission, church education and diakonia. I would like this paper to become a launching pad for a lively discussion of Korean practical theology.

이 논문은 한국 실천신학계의 주요인물인 박근원의 신학실천론에 대한 연구이다. 필자는 이를 위해 실천신학 분야 이해의 선발 주자였던 루돌프 보렌의 실천신학론과 7 분야론(기독교 생활론, 설교학, 교회교육학, 목회학, 사역학, 교회행정학)을 논의한다. 그리고 박근원은 보렌의 실천신학론을 토대로 하면서도 자신의 고유의 시각을 분명하게 발전 과정을 추적 분석한다. 초창기인 1975년에는 보렌의 선교중심적 실천신학론을 논의하면서도 7 분야의 순서를 약간 다르게 재조정하고 있다: 선교, 예배, 설교, 목회, 교육, 전도, 교회행정. 그 후 박근원은 평소의 소신이었던 실천신학을 신학실천으로 개명함으로써 이 분야의 새로운 이정표를 세우게 되었다. 이러한 변화는 현장과 거리가 있는 신학일반의 이론적 성향의 극복과 한국의 정치현상과 밀접한 관련이 있다. 그는 자신의 신학실천론을 9분야로 보완 확장했다: 그리스도교 생활론, 그리스도교 교역론, 그리스도교 예배론, 그리스도교 설교론, 그리스도교 목회론, 그리스도교 공동체론, 그리스도교 교육론, 그리스도교 교육론, 그리스도교 봉사론. 본 연구는 위와 같은 박근원의 신학실천 분야 이해에 이르게 되는 과정을 분석 고찰함으로써, 한국의 신학실천론과 실천신학의 활발한 토론에 디딤돌이 되고자 한다.
