The instant study is to contemplate in what way Christian educationand mission training are inter-related and the role of Christian educa-tion in order to respond to demands of Korean church, specifically inher involvement in the rapidly changing mission field.In this crucial timing, lack of mission works by Korean churcheswould result in our losing a pivotal opportunity. Korean churches mustrespond quickly and accurately to the needs of mission works by firsthaving a big picture strategy as well as a proper understanding of therapidly changing mission field and its context. God desires that Koreanchurch will now step forward to serve a leading role in world mission,and the world awaits our decision. This is the call for mission to Koreanchurch. World mission must be merged with Christian education. First begin-ning with education that furthers intellectual understanding, modern dayintellectuals must strive for the gospel message to be efficiently deliv-ered in the mission field so that subsequently spiritual growth and matu-rity will follow in churches established in mission field. The instant study suggested that Christian education must be fullyemployed to effectively bring about world mission. As Korean churchis in the 21st century world mission era, Christian education must bemeans and method for world mission and the contents of Christian edu-cation must translate into mission contents. Mission field awaits missionarieswho have completed solid Christian education and training. We, as edu-cators of present and the future, are commissioned to make disciples ofall nations until the kingdom of God reigns upon the entire world. Byobeying this great commission, we will be able to dynamically preparefor the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

21세기 글로벌 선교 시대에서는 선교와 더불어 기독교 교육도 함께 이루어져야 함이 한국교회에 요청된다. 선교를 예수 그리스도 없이 자신의 뜻대로 산 사람을 하나님의 뜻대로 살도록 하는 것이라 할 때 이는 교육이 없이는 절대로 이루어질 수 없는 것이다. 교육은 사람들을 예수 그리스도안에서 구원의 신앙으로 인도하고 예수님의 제자가 되는 훈련을 시켜 세상에서 기독교적 섬김을 실천하는 사람으로 준비시킨다. 물론 이 전에도 교육은 있었지만 현지의 상황을 전혀 고려하지 않은 성경 주입식 형식 교육이었기에 진정으로 예수님의 주권이 자신의 삶 가운데 나타나지는 못했다. 이제 21세기 기독교교육은 선교현장의 문화와 상황을 고려하여 전략적으로 이루어져야 한다. 과거 우리나라에 기독교가 선교학교를 비롯한 교육사업을 통해 성공적으로 들어오고 정착한 것처럼 이제 우리도 현지 상황의 요구에 따른 교육을 같이 행함으로 종교 다원주의를 경계하는 기독교 가치관을 그들에게 심어 주어야 한다. 이를 위해서 기독교교육의 중요성을 인식하고 현지 상황을 연구하며 프로그램을 전략적으로 계발해야 할 것이다. 그리고 이런 교육과정을 통해서 선교지 교회의 영적 성장과 성숙이라는 결실을 얻어야 한다.
