It is reflected by consistent color senses based universally on the Five colors(red, blue, yellow, white, black) of the Five Directions in the color senses expressed in Korean culture. The doctrine of the five natural elements of the positive and negative functions as the principal which supervises all things in human would in the connection of the principles of yin yang and the five elements such as metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. On this research give a molding ability of art to hair then highlight the Hait Art as new part of study. The study created three originality piece of work to express variety of Five Colors. First, ‘O-bang pocket' symbolize luck and it was made of wire, Korean traditional paper and thread. Second, ‘Shield kite' was made of wood, Korean traditional paper and thread. Third, ‘Taeguk mark' was made of styrene, wood and thread. I hope that theoretical research for manufacturing and academic one for practical business about making formative works will become active. It will be very thankful to me if this study can help even though slightly for splendid Hair arts to make its status firm as a one part of arts, and there are following studies.

오방색(적색, 청색, 황색, 백색, 흑색)은 우리 민족의 기본이 되는 전통색으로 현대 사회에서는 복고 문화와 민족의 고유성 및 웰빙에 대한 관심이 고조되면서 그 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 오방색을 사용하여 소박하면서도 강렬한 색채로 예술적인 멋을 아트적 시각으로 헤어디자인을 재조명한다는 의미인 헤어아트의 창작을 통해 표현보고자 하였다. 작품의 소재는 오방색에서 복고와 고유성을 표현하고자 한지와 실 등을 선정하였고 형태는 동양적인 사상으로 하늘과 땅을 상징하는 원과 사각 형태로 표현하였으며, 안정적인 둥근 형태와 동시에 불안정적인 사각의 비대칭적인 형태를 각각의 작품에서 표현하였다. 첫 번째 작품은 ‘복을 가져다준다’는 오방낭자 주머니의 형태를 철사와 한지, 실을 사용하여 헤어아트로 표현해 제작해 보았으며, 두 번째 작품은 방패연의 형태를 나무와 한지, 실을 사용하여 제작하였다. 마지막으로 세 번째 작품은 태극을 표현하기 위해 오방색 스티로폼과 나무 등, 실의 재료를 사용하였다.
