Life Expectancy Prediction by the Evaluation of the Chloride Ion Penetration Depth Through the Surface Coatings.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how chloride ion penetration depth and chloride diffusion coefficient through the surface coatings has been applied to predict life expectancy. The chloride ion diffusion coefficient is evaluated based on NT BUILD 492. From the result, the surface coatings from study confirmed that the thing resistance about the chloride ion of the
concrete which closes the surface is great compared with the concrete which did not closes the surface. Also it's judged the appropriate clad thickness by Surface Coatings. Therefore it will be able to expect the distinguished durability improvement.
