This paper aims to suggest the direction of improving urban river-scape through the analysis of the characteristics of urban riverscape based on the relations of physical elements and visual preference for urban riverscape in the case of Shincheon River in Daegu. As the results of this study, the three scenic factors are abstracted, and the visual preference for the physical elements
is analyzed through the user interview.
