This study is to examine the various aspects and theories based on the notion and philosophy for the sustainable urban regeneration through the analysis of the urban decline aspects in history of the urban growth process and inspecting on the conditions and issues of the previous urban regeneration methods. The study is consisted of three following areas : literature
review of the general aspects and history regarding urban decline and correspondence, review of the growth and decline of urban core, review of the new trends on the urban generation theories. The result is synthesized to propose the future inquired study of the detailed planning methodology and applicable ideas for the sustainable urban core regeneration after investigating
on the various aspects of principles and applicable possibilities for the sustainable urban development and regeneration.
