Recently the fiber filter is proven to be able to replace the suspended solids removal in the wastewater treatment process and the coagulation settling in the water treatment process. The objective of this study was to evaluate the treatment characteristics and the treatment efficiency change of the two stage fiber filter(PCF), which was used to minimize the breakthrough time of the filter.The turbidity of the filtered water was 2.0 NTU as maximum in the early filtering process, but the turbidity was stabilized fast less than 0.2 NTU during the filtering process. Also there was no breakthrough phenomenon at the end of the filtering process and there was no changes of filtered water quality during the continuous operation.
