This study examined the effects of learning factor which was made by TV debate on candidates' image and TV debate, based on social learning theory. This study found that learning factor has differently affected candidates' image, in other words, preceding tendency for each candidate has impacts on the image. This results are viewed from the fact that there is a difference between well-known candidate and who is relatively not. Speech and gesture was most prominent factor for Lee Myung Bak and Park Geun Hae while appearance, the understanding the difference, and home town and appearance, for Hong Jun Pyo, Won Hee Ryong, and Go Jin Hwa, are most prominent factor, respectively. In addition, the learning factor was correlated with candidates' image; specifically, Lee Myung Bak (candidates' quality, personality, verbal communication), Park Geun Hae (verbal communication), Hong Jun Pyo (appearance), Won Hee Ryong (understanding the difference), Go Jin Hwa (understanding the difference, home town and appearance). This result shows that each candidate's personality and scrutiny are closely related. Ability and personality was important factor for Lee Myung Bak, while personality for Park Geun Hae. Appearance was important for Hong Jun Pyo because he is famous for national audit. While the difference with other candidates was important for Won Hee Ryong because he is younger than others, the fact that where he is from and appearance was important for Go Jin Hwa because he is not well-known to the public.

본 연구는 TV토론으로 형성된 학습요인이 후보자 이미지에 미치는 학습 요인의 영향을 분석하였다. 이 분석 결과 학습 요인은 후보자 이미지에 차별적인 영향을 미치고 있으며, 후보에 대한 선유 경향이 이미지에 미치는 영향에 차별적인 영향 요인으로 나타나고 있다고 보아진다. 이는 개별 후보의 영향을 분석한 결과 각 학습 요인이 잘 알려진 후보와 그렇지 않은 후보 간에 차별성이 뚜렷이 나타나고 있음을 통해 유추할 수 있다. 즉 이명박, 박근혜 후보의 경우 언변제스처가 가장 큰 영향 요인으로 나타나고 있고,홍준표 후보 외양,원희룡 후보 간 차별화 이해, 고진화 출신지역과 외양으로 나타나 이를 알 수 있다. 상관관계 분석에서는 학습 요인과 후보별 이미지 영향 간에 차별성이 뚜렷이 나타나고 있다.이명박 후보는 후보 자질 검증,인품, 언변제스처, 박근혜 후보는 언변제스처,홍준표 후보는 외양,원희룡 후보는 후보 간 차별화 이해, 고진화 후보는 후보 간 차별화 이해, 출신지역, 외양 등과 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.이는 유력 주자의 개성과 검증의 접근이 유의성을 보이고 있다고 본다. 이명박은 가장 유력한 한나라당 후보로서 자질과 인품을 살펴보고 교양과 같은 품위를 살피고 있는 것으로 보인다. 하지만 박근혜의 경우 잘 알려진 후보로서 얼마나 품위가 있는지에 초점을 두고 평가하고 있는 것으로 보인다. 홍준표도 국감 스타로 어느 정도 알려진 후보이나 직접 접촉의 기회가 적은 관계로 외양에 치우친 평가를 하고 있어 보인다. 원희룡은 젊은 주자로서 타 후보와의 차별성이 있는지에 주안점을 두고 평가 하고 있어 보인다. 고진화는 젊은 주자이지만 잘 알려지지 않은 후보에 대한 평가로 출신지역과 외양에 대한 평가가 이어지고 있다.
