The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between mindfulness and job stress as antecedents that enhance the psychological well-being of travel agency employees. The travel agencies included in the survey were selected from the top 20 agencies based on the Billing and Settlement Plan. The sample included employees involved with travel products from the 20 travel agencies that agreed to participate in the survey. The survey was conducted after researchers visited these agencies and obtained prior consent from the eligible employees. The analysis results showed that among the sub-factors of mindfulness, de-centered attention, present awareness, and concentration had a negative effect on job stress. Job stress was found to have a negative effect on psychological well-being. This study has academic significance in that it identified the importance of mindfulness for travel agency employees.
