본 연구는 한국과 우즈베키스탄의 전통 미디어와 소셜 미디어 뉴스 신뢰도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 두 국가의 미디어를 비판주의 언론(Critical Press)과 발전주의 언론(Developmental Press) 유형으로 구분하여, 뉴스 신뢰도에 미치는 요인을 비교하였다. 연구 결과, 우즈베키스탄 언론 유형의 경우 소셜 미디어 뉴스 이용량의 평균은 전통 미디어 뉴스 이용량보다 많아 유의한 차이가 보였다. 한국 언론 유형의 경우에는 반대로 전통 미디어 뉴스 이용량의 평균은 소셜 미디어 뉴스 이용량보다 많아 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또 전통 미디어 뉴스 신뢰도의 경우, 우즈베키스탄의 평균점이 한국 점에서 높아 유의한 차이를 보였다. 소셜 미디어 뉴스 신뢰도의 경우, 우즈베키스탄 평균점보다 한국의 평균점이 높아 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
In this study, we examined the impact of traditional media and social media on news credibility. The results indicate that, in the case of Uzbekistan, the average usage of social media news is significantly higher than that of traditional media news, while in South Korea, the average usage of traditional media news is significantly higher than that of social media news. Regarding the credibility of traditional media news, Uzbekistan shows a significantly higher average score than South Korea. Conversely, for social media news credibility, South Korea has a significantly higher average score than Uzbekistan.
