본고는 날로 가속화되는 컴퓨터 인터넷 기술의 발달로 생성형 AI가 인간 고유의 영역을 침범하는 디지털 AI 시대의 도래 속에서 대학의 인문교양교육이 나아가야 할 방향을 탐색하고, 현시점에서 우리 학습자들에게 필요한 역량이 무엇인지와, 그 역량을 함양하기 위한 교육의 내용과 방법을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 급격한 사회의 변화에 신속하게 대응하고 적응하며 살아갈 미래 사회의 구성원을 길러내야 하는 대학 교육의 현장에서, 시대의 흐름으로 자리 잡은 디지털 AI 기술과의 공존 방법을 모색하는 일은 시대적 과제라고 할 수 있다. 그러나 이 뉴미디어 기술에 대한 연구가 충분히 이루어지고 그 강점과 한계가 비교적 선명한 형체를 갖추고 드러나기 전까지, 이미 충분히 축적된 연구와 경험을 토대로 발전되어 온 기존의 수업 방식을 점검하고 보완하는 작업도 함께 이루어져야 한다고 생각된다. 이에 본고는 학습자가 AI에 의존하지 않고, 인문학적인 사유의 형식과 내용을 훈련할 수 있는 ‘읽기-쓰기’ 의 통합 교육 방안을 제안하였다.
The purpose of this paper is to explore the direction of humanities and liberal arts education at universities in the advent of the digital AI era, in which Generative AI invades human-specific areas due to the increasingly accelerated development of computer Internet technology, and to suggest what competencies learners need at this time and the contents and methods of education to cultivate them. Finding ways to coexist with digital AI technology, which has become a trend of the times, is a current task in the field of university education that needs to quickly respond to rapid social changes, adapt, and cultivate members of the future society. However, until sufficient research on this new media technology is done and its strengths and limitations are revealed in a relatively clear manner, I think it is necessary to examine and supplement the existing teaching methods that have already been developed based on sufficiently accumulated research and experience. Therefore, this paper proposed a reading-writing integrated education method that can shape the form and content of humanities thinking.
