목적: 본고는 AI를 활용하여 논증적 글쓰기, 즉 논술문 쓰기 능력을 함양시키는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법: AI를 활용한 글쓰기의 과정은 어떻게 이루어지는가를 통해, 단계별 필요한 능력과 체크리스트를 고찰하였다. 결과: AI를 활용한 논술문 쓰기는 사용자(필자)와 AI와의 상호작용의 결과물이다. 첫째, 사용자가 AI에게 논술문의 특성에 따른 메시지를 전달하는 단계로 질문 생성 능력이 필요하다. 둘째, AI가 산출한 결과물에 대한 읽기 단계로, 비판적 사고 능력이 필요하다. 셋째, 논술문의 특성에 맞는 문제 해결에 있어서 AI가 제시한 산출문을 수용하기보다는 새로운 관점과 아이디어로 새로운 해결 방안을 제시하는 단계로 창조적 사고 능력이 필요하다. 넷째, 글쓰기의 전체 과정에서 사용자와 AI의 상호작용을 제3자의 입장에서 바라보는 단계로 메타인지적 사고 능력이 필요하다. 결론: AI를 활용한 글쓰기에서 글의 종류와 특성에 맞는 정확한 질문과 AI가 산출한 결과물에 대하여 비판하고, 창의적인 글이 되기 위한 다양한 체크리스트를 개발하는 연구가 이루어져야 되리라 본다.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to enhance argumentative writing proficiency through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Methods: The investigation delves into the process of writing with AI, encompassing a comprehensive checklist of steps and essential skills. Results: The synergy between the user (writer) and the AI is instrumental in the writing process. Firstly, users must adeptly formulate questions to effectively communicate their intentions to the AI, aligning with the specific attributes of argumentative papers. Secondly, critical thinking skills are essential when evaluating the results generated by the AI. Thirdly, creative thinking skills come into play as users tackle problems in alignment with the distinctive characteristics of argumentative writing, proposing innovative solutions and fresh perspectives rather than passively accepting the AI’s output. Lastly, metacognitive thinking skills are imperative, enabling users to perceive the interaction between themselves and the AI as a third party throughout the entire writing process. Conclusion: In the realm of AI-assisted writing, future research should concentrate on developing precise questioning strategies tailored to various writing types, critically assessing AI-generated outcomes, and formulating diverse checklists to foster creativity in writing.
