This study proposes a Green Remodeling-Optimization Decision Process (GR-ODP) for building remodeling. Previous research has primarily focused on identifying the impact of individual building components through sensitivity analysis or providing strategies for finding optimal alternatives. However, these studies often lacked an integrated approach that combines two aspects of the green remodeling process. Our research then proposes sensitivity analysis results to prioritize specific building components and to select optimal alternatives. Using the NSGA-II algorithm, we derive a Pareto optimal set that considers multiple objectives such as energy consumption, carbon emissions, and material costs. Based on this set, we propose the selection of optimal alternatives according to the decision maker's preferences, accounting for multi-criteria in energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and cost-effectiveness. This comprehensive methodology provides new insights into the development of effective green remodeling strategies.
