본 연구는 해외 파견 한국어교원을 선발하는 정부 기관들의 모집 공고를 분석하여 해외 파견 한국어교원에게 필요한 자격 요건과 직무가 무엇인지 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 2023년 각 기관에서 게시한 공고문 내용을 검토하여 공통 자격 요건, 우대 조건 및 주요 직무를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 한국어교원자격증, 경력, 그리고 학력 등의 자격 요건에 있어 과거와 달리 기관 간 차이점이 줄어 유사해지는 양상을 확인하였다. 또한 해외 대학 파견 객원교수나 한국어봉사단의 주요 직무는 현지 교육기관의 특성을 반영하면서 과거보다 구체적으로 세분되는 양상을 보였다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 다음 두 가지를 제안하였다. 첫째, 유사해진 자격 요건에 맞추어 자격 요건 등급 단계 및 명칭을 일원화하여 교원 선발 절차의 효율성을 높일 필요가 있다. 둘째, 기관별 주요 직무 대비에 도움이 될 수 있도록 해외 파견 한국어교원 연수 및 교육 프로그램을 통합 구성할 필요가 있다. 이를 바탕으로 해외 파견 한국어교원이 특정 기관 활동 종료 후 유사 지역 내 타 기관으로 이동하여 경력을 성장시킬 기회를 얻을 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the recruitment notices of government agencies that select Korean language teachers to be dispatched overseas and to identify the qualifications and main duties required for them. To this end, this study reviewed the contents of recruitment notices posted by each institution in 2023 and analyzed common qualifications, preferential conditions, and major duties. As a result, it was confirmed that, unlike in the past, the differences between institutions were decreasing and becoming similar in terms of qualification requirements centered on Korean language teacher certification, teaching experience, and academic background. In addition, the main duties of visiting professors dispatched to overseas universities or Korean language volunteers showed a tendency to be subdivided more specifically than in the past, reflecting the characteristics of local educational institutions. Based on these analysis results, this study proposed the following two things. First, there is a need to increase the efficiency of the teacher selection process by unifying qualification grade levels and names in line with similar qualification requirements. Second, there is a need to integrate training and education programs for Korean language teachers dispatched overseas to help prepare for major jobs at each institution. Based on this, it is expected that Korean language teachers dispatched overseas will have the opportunity to grow their careers by moving to other institutions in a similar region after completing their dispatch activities at a specific institution.
